Terms of Use
These Terms of Use explain the rules for using FlexDoc PDF tools, conversion tools, OCR, signature features, and related document workflows.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using FlexDoc, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the website or upload files for processing. These terms apply to all tools, including Merge PDF, Split PDF, Compress PDF, Sign PDF, OCR PDF, Word to PDF, Excel to PDF, Image to PDF, PDF to Image, Watermark PDF, and related features.
Permitted Use
You may use the service to process documents that you own, control, or have permission to modify. You agree not to use FlexDoc for unlawful, harmful, abusive, misleading, infringing, or unauthorized activity.
- Do not upload documents you are not allowed to access, edit, convert, sign, or share.
- Do not use the website to create fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful documents.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the service.
- Do not upload malware, harmful scripts, illegal content, or files intended to damage systems.
Your Documents and Responsibility
You keep ownership of the files you upload and the output files generated from them. You are responsible for the content of your documents, the legality of processing them, and the accuracy of any output you download.
Always keep a copy of your original files. Before submitting, signing, printing, or sharing important documents, review the output carefully for formatting, page order, compression quality, OCR accuracy, signature placement, and conversion accuracy.
PDF Tools and Conversion Accuracy
Document tools can be affected by file structure, fonts, images, scan quality, encryption, corruption, page dimensions, and embedded objects. Some conversions are best-effort and may not preserve every layout detail, image, table, formula, font, annotation, or embedded object from the original file.
OCR output may contain recognition errors, especially with low-quality scans, handwriting, unusual fonts, tilted pages, or poor contrast. Repair and optimization tools may not recover badly damaged or unsupported PDFs.
Signature Feature
Sign PDF allows typed or free hand signatures to be added to a document. This feature helps place a visible signature mark on a PDF, but it does not automatically guarantee legal validity, identity verification, certificate-based signing, or compliance with electronic signature laws in every jurisdiction.
If a document requires legally binding electronic signatures, identity verification, audit trails, digital certificates, or regulatory compliance, consult the receiving party or a qualified professional before relying on the output.
No Professional Advice
FlexDoc does not provide legal, financial, tax, compliance, medical, or professional advice. The website provides document processing tools only. You are responsible for deciding whether an output file is suitable for your intended use.
Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any feature at any time. We may also change file size limits, supported formats, processing behavior, advertising placements, or access conditions as the website evolves.
Third-Party Services
The website may use hosting providers, analytics tools, ad networks, CDNs, fonts, icons, and browser libraries. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. FlexDoc is not responsible for third-party websites, policies, or services linked from or used by the website.
Disclaimers
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free output, perfect conversion quality, complete file recovery, OCR accuracy, permanent availability, or suitability for a specific purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FlexDoc and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or business losses arising from use of the website, inability to use the website, file loss, incorrect output, failed uploads, failed downloads, or reliance on processed documents.
Termination or Restriction
We may restrict or block access if we believe the service is being misused, attacked, abused, used unlawfully, or used in a way that creates risk for the website, users, infrastructure, or third parties.
Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms of Use as features, laws, hosting arrangements, or business requirements change. The version posted on this page is the current version for the website.
